@PhotogenicBosh You mean what super villain worries about that? and not even a million recuts could make this movie better, the only way this could be improved on is to be thrown in the bin and remade.

"For me, Quest for Peace is the most personal Superman of the entire series. It directly reflects what Superman should be, and what he should be doing."
--Christopher Reeve
"Except for fools and madmen, everyone knows that nuclear war would he an unprecedented Human catastrophe."
--Carl Sagan
... fools, madmen & bitches who're so SPOILED by white privilege that they have enough time on their hands to obsess over a film's TRIVIAL flaws instead of focusing on its essential MESSAGE.

love it when he puts the flag back up.......

"We have not yet experienced a global thermonuclear war -- although on more than one occasion we have come tremulously close. I do NOT think our luck can hold forever ... We have placed our civilization and our species in jeopardy. Fortunately, it is not yet too late. We can safeguard the planetary civilization and the Human family if we so choose. There is no more important or more urgent issue."
--Carl Sagan
The Quest for Peace's MESSAGE is "more urgent" than bitching about special effects!

Sigh ... In the animated movie, All Star Superman (based on a comic book mini-series), ol' Kal-El gets cancer from overdosing on solar radiation, so something similar must have happened when he fought the Nuclear Man ...
... but it's about bloody time y'all focused on REAL science ...
"In a 2-megaton explosion over a fairly large city, buildings would be vaporized, people reduced to atoms and shadows, outlying structures blown down like matchsticks and raging fires ignited."
--Carl Sagan

Nuclear Man draws power from the sun, and his abilities, i assume discharge solar energy. Which also Superman draws power from...
EXCELLENT, however just a couple of things that I would suggest, don't worry about cutting the part down with Nuclear Man going through the floors. The cut down of the scene takes away the impression of the height of the building,
Secondly when it comes to the shot of Superman moving the moon back, try flipping the shot of him, it will give the impression he is pushing from the other side of the moon.

Reason i cut down him flying through the floors was because
A. Wires were clearly visible and
B. His flying up seemed very forced and the other 3 floor shots and he almost seem frightened he'd hurt his head. What super hero worries about that? :-)
For some reason the editing software i use does not have the mirror horizontal filter, but im capturing the film on another program i have that has it to flip those shots and a few others, but thanks very much for the tips.
