Ali Ali: A Song For Grandpa

This is a Hebrew/English song that my Grandparents love me singing and before my Grandfather died he requested I sing this at his funeral, which I did, but was trying to hold back from crying so I wanted to put this up for him.

Beautifully done. Sorry for your loss. Regardless of the technical comments from the other people regarding how you sang the song, it is the intention and emotion behind your singing that I was really impressed with. I see why your grandfather wanted you to sing it.

Aw, thank you, that was just the sweetest comment. My grandfather was a very sweet man. When his older brother passed away he requested that I sing this at his funeral and every time I visit his stone I sing it for him again.

Definitely a difficult song to sing. The intervals are difficult. The song is beautiful though. You modulated about 30 seconds into the song. I think you went flat but I couldn't tell just right. You sound too unconfident with the words (hebrew is it) and it affects your pitch. You can hear it in the way you Gliss to the next note. You definitely pull it off though and you have a beautiful voice. I picture a mom singing her children to sleep when I hear this.
