Why is it always what the singer is wearing that interests people so much? Neshama's singing is fantastic.

Neshama was here last Shabbos! What a fantastic, uplifitng time. I left so joyful, yet very sad it had to end. I admire and respect Neshama in all her work. She is keeping the dream alive of her father, Reb Shlomo Carlebach (z''l) by bringing love, peace and joy to the world! I feel truly honored that I got to tell this to her!! How many people get the chance to tell the person to their face ,that they truely admire them? I was so fortunate to have met her father to tell him the same thing.

SO--shalompeace1321---you know specifically the the gender or he who we may not name? A little bit of chauvanism there---frankly, it is all bally-hoo but her talent---and her father's is not to be diminished. Best of all they have open minds and I do love that choir and all Gospel Music---would that we share the rhythm. SHe does, her dad did. As to Yashem---best to listen to Lewis Black and his take on a kind and loving God.

Sidefall-- all I can say, is Neshama is her own person, she is tasteful and respectful. and a joyous person (I know, I have spoken personally with her) And to be honest I do not think she ever has taken things to far in her dress, but she knows her audience. She is a very smart entertainer. I totally respect her and stand by her solidly. AND I LOVE HER MUSIC!!! I am eagerly awaitng for her return to MINNESOTA!!

SIMPLY FANTASTIC!!! ALL NESHAMA'S WORK IS FABULOUS!! SHE CERTAINLY HAS THE SOUL OF HER LATE FATHER (Z""L) REB SHLOMO CARLEBACH. IN HER OWN RIGHT, SHE BLOWS ANYONE ELSE OUT OF THE WATER!! SHE IS #1 IN MY BOOK!!

@shalompeace1321 I also love Neshama's music, but I'm disappointed that she doesn't dress more modestly, especially because, as you say, not only is she singing for Hashem, but He is singing through her.

Neshama is MAGNIFICENT!! She has in her voice the soul of her father, Reb Sholomo Carlebach (z''l). Her heart and soul and voice have been touched by HASHEM. HE is singing through her. I consider her a close friend and I have the highest respect for her. May she go from strength to strength.Come back to Minnesota very soon NESHAMA!!
