This footage was taken in Cairo July '09 on the Felucas by the Nile Cornich. This is where the local people gather to enjoy themselves and its a great place to observe the local people enjoying their music dancing and socializing.

  • to much writing and your wrong about inateractions among sexes im sorry

  • @myzombiebreath #1 that's why I uploaded another version without the explanations in the video and #2 what I said about interactions between the sexes is true. You do not see guys going up to girls who they are not related to and dancoing with them unless they are very good friends and even then it depends on the segment of society they are from. In very traditional circles it would never happen. Only in the big cities among certain segments of the middle and upper class will you find it.

  • looks like fun. He was working those hips :-) I have West Indian background so I know that it is a very common and normal thing for men to roll their hips when they dance. Good video.

  • The guys are giving women their space.Ha a this is why women go to dance clubs in such large groups in the US. We just want to dance and have a good time and not be bothered. Strength in numbers! Lucky these women get room to do their thing!
