seeing this too late :(((((((((((((, destroyed 10 mac brushes soaking them overnight with regular shampoo not only did the hairs remove from the stick but the stick also split . thanks for doing this

A really great alternative for people on a budget, Dawn antibacterial(Green kind) dish soap and olive oil. Simply mix the 2. 1 part olive oil to 2 parts Soap. Only the one kind of dish soap has the antibacterial use as well as it being gentle on the brushes and the oil conditions them.
