Sacred Economics traces the history of money from ancient gift economies to modern capitalism, revealing how the money system has contributed to alienation, competition, and scarcity, destroyed community, and necessitated endless growth.

Today, these trends have reached their extreme - but in the wake of their collapse, we may find great opportunity to transition to a more connected, ecological, and sustainable way of being.

From your comment, I highly doubt you've read Marx.

I keep thinking about what simple minded Ayan Rand followers would say about this book. The beginning of this short explains it all. We've separated ourselves from the world that gave us breath, balanced on an idea. The idea of "society" is the root of all of our problems. The idea that everyone has the right to survive and procreate in any situation, in any place, is simple not a good one. We are critters of the earth and need to rework the plan into one that does not require growth.

Agriculture has been documented as being a negative thing? Documented by whom? By respected minds? Who respects such minds? What are your sources? Where are you getting your information?

Peace brother. I leave you now to relieve myself of the stress, agitation, aggravation, violation and assault. I honestly have been heart felt and genuine in my responses...I hope you find it you to do the same. Words create reality.

I'm actually not, dude. Because you cannot see what I am saying doesn't automatically categorize it as meaningless, or drivel. Again - you wont' get anywhere with you aggression. Agriculture is well document, by many respected minds as a negative thing. Especially big business Ag that shortsightedly unbalances Eco-systems. Humanity survived for many millennium with out Ag. Now that it's proliferated, yes, we cannot live with out it - but being dependent doesn't necessitate it ~ as w/ meth

Now you're just spouting off vague and meaningless drivel. An attack on agriculture is an attack on human civilization, because humanity cannot survive without agriculture.
