Me Playing My Charango! (My Weird Instrument!)

Hello, and this is a video about MY WEIRD INSTRUMENT! I got my weird instrument for Christmas this year (2008) aswell as a FLIP VIDEO CAMERA that I recorded this video with! My weird instrument - IT IS NOW CONFIRMED AS A CHARANGO - used to have 10 strings but I took 2 out so I could tune it as an eight stringed ukulele it sounds a bit like a mandolin and it's body is made out of an armodillo shell! I love it. Its awesome. Hope you enjoy!

@swapandnap Well... you are also wrong... the Cuatro from Puerto Rico has 10 strings in 5 courses but still looks completely different to the Charango so gunlover should still be embarassed. You are thinking of the Venezuelan Cuatro which does have 4 strings.

I agree; you already have ukuleles. You should put the strings back and learn Charango music, too. You can't have too many weird instruments.
