Too bad the fame's got to him. Not personality wise, since he's still very respectable and stays out of the public eye.

But anyone notice since Pirates, he's only ever in these big budget overhyped pieces of shit?

I mean come on, he's made billions from his past several movies. I'd like to see him go back to artsy, unique films like Dead Man, etc. Let's face it, Pirates 2 and 3 were a big CGI crapfest.

Pirates 2 and 3 are shit. Face it. Giant goddess turning into a bunch of crabs? Come on, that is fucking shit mate.

Most Hollywood things are shit. Now go watch Transformers while it pushes your intellect to the limit.

But some good mainstream movies are:
- Blood Diamond
- Revolutionary Road
- A Few Good Men
- Terminator 2: Judgement Day

Even these fuckin' movies aren't too recent (save for the first two). Face it, Hollywood is a big pile of shit.

The fact of the matter is, Johnny Depp could have made these box office hits years ago. He is drawn to the characters and thats why he makes the movies. He was drawn to Jack sparrow and he always acts in Tim Burton Films despite its box office appeal. and that's what makes him different.
