He sounds like the televangelists from the 80s. Doom and gloom fear and end of the world,..in this case end of the country.
Founding Fathers understood the difference between religious doctrine and laws of government and the need to keep them distinct. Mainly cause there was a clash even between various Christian denominations back then. So the law needed to be impartial for true equality and justice to prevail.
