That stage is the last bastion of free speech left in the US. That stage is-NOT the audience. The root to that word is aud-to listen. If you want to talk at a comedy show, spend about 10 years in shithole clubs and open mics until you're good enough where people will pay to hear YOU talk. If you are in the audience and you don't like the comic, don't laugh, shut the fuck up, or walk out. You haven't earned the right to talk or cheat the rest of the audience out of what they paid to hear.

i've NEVER understood how people randomly show up at comedy shows! do your homework! do these same people just buy random CD's? Does this heckler just pick up the latest Cannibal Corpse CD and hope for the best?
