She sounds Russian now. I'm an American, and even MY manner of speaking sounds more English than hers now. That's really depressing to imagine sounding like a foreigner in your own country. :(
I think she has a beautiful accent, doing incredibly well for someone who lost her voice. Show's you now much of your identity is tied to the way you talk, and how much people make assumptions about other on the quality of their accents. Why does the host have a Kiwi accent?
