Sounds nothing like Prelude to War.

    -

Tracks were recycled a lot in Season 1, such as mini series tracks playing in various places in Season 1. This however is not Prelude to War, its not even the same drumming.

  • hav u listened to Hans Zimmer? he's th king of recycling. McCreary - creative genius compared 2 him. 's unfeasible 2 completely rethink the music evry episode. if it was, u would feel no connection in the story line and w/ the characters. it also creates a feeling. That's why music repeats/sounds similar. important character = theme. theme comes back often, not always the same. this theme - WAR. it's not Zimmer who has only one theme. listen 2 1 track of Pirates and u'v heard th whole soundtrak

  • @Mu51kM4n I...I...I understand now!

There's no longer too much confusion in here.

  • @Mu51kM4n Let me try again --> "Hans Zimmer is the king of recycling. If you've ever listened to and compared the sound tracks from the movies "Gladiator" and "Pirates of the Caribbean" you'll see that there are a lot of recycled ideas that were changed slightly. Zimmer also is not very creative when it comes to orchestration and there are very few unique themes presented in "Pirates." McCreary, on the other hand, composed a lot of unique and memorable themes throughout BSG.

  • @Mu51kM4n I apologize for the apparent lack of literacy of this comment. I committed the very crime that I often criticize others of committing. I greatly exceeded YouTube's text limit and decided to destroy my grammar rather than leave out any specific thought. Ironically, I re-read over this post and most of it is hard to understand. I am ashamed that I actually posted that. It would have been better to just leave some of it out.

  • @TonyEvans96 I'm sorry if my "illiteracy" bothers you. I had a text limit issue. I couldn't figure out how to shorten it without leaving something out, so I went the direction of "illiteracy." I understand your viewpoint, though. When I read comments like mine above, it really bothers me that people either don't take the time to write out complete sentences, or that they don't know how to write. I re-read my comment and have to say I'm ashamed that I wrote that way. I'm sorry.

  • @Mu51kM4n Your illiteracy bothers me... please tell me English is not your native language, or that you're from the boonies.

  • ha, giggity

i enact rule 34, now internet go forth and do my will!

  • what episode does this play in?

  • Never leave your Leader!

  • One of the saddest and most heroic scenes of the entire series.

The whole sequence and track captured the essence of the irascible heroine.
