Well the feeling and mood of each program works well with the music and part of that mood is enhanced by the dark lighting used. Line-by-line phrasing basically means changing a clip before each sentence. If you need an example, you can check out my montages :-)

Sorry, forgot to add that with slower music like this, it would probably be even better to use more than one clip per sentence. For instance "But you..." = one clip, "you're not alone" = different clip, "you're uninvited"=another clip, etc.

Okay I get it now. I did a couple of my earlier montages like that. The ones I do now, I try to make them look like one on-going program. I have several of them posted on this site. Some work out better than others. This one got kinda choppy in areas, but I still think it turned out okay. Thanks for the advice! I'll check out some of your montanges too! :)

Love the choice of music and programs for Michelle. The lighting is really good for this music, too. One thing you could improve is to phrase line by line of the lyrics with different clips. Thanks for sharing here on youtube :-)

Thanks! The lighting thing was actually just coincidence! :) I'm not too sure what you mean: "phrase line by line with diff clips." Do you mean using one specific clip for each verse?
