The only people who benefited from the Labour government of 1997-2010 were either a) those "filthy rich" that you want to kill or whatever and b) the lazy-ass do-nothing people who exploited the welfare system. Thatcher brought a nation from the brink of destruction (1979 with power cuts and strikes) to the apex of economic expansion (1990). So get your facts straight, or get the hell out of here.

@EvilJohnnyAllen You get out of here, fool. Thatcher closed down any and all gov't-funded ventures that didn't make a profit, thereby saving you ungrateful lot thousands of pounds each in taxes. Jebus Christ.... Blair HELPED? Blair inherited the best economy Britain had ever had since WWI and left it in shambles in 2007, worst of all in the hands of Gordon Brown, who screwed it up even worse!
