Sounds amazing. Just put SLP Loudmouths on my 2008 GT today, and I gotta say, I'm very impressed with it!

@etalani and you are going to get more blow by leakage through those rings at idle, especially when cold. again i am not trying to fight with you or say i am more knowledgeable or smarter than any other tech around, my statements are based on what i have learned, scene etc through my short stent so far in the industry, i am sure you have been around longer but that doesnt make your statement correct
-
@etalani you really arent told to warm you car up at idle, this isnt the 1960s with carburated vehicles, your told told to warm your car up in the cold for 30 seconds to a minute at top. sitting there idleing is any better for a car than putting it in gear ago go, i am not saying taking it to redline., i mean staring the car itself. putting your seatbelt on and adjusting the radio station or what ever and than putting it in gear and driving off.
-
and i am slightly confused about your statement, i wouldnt consider blow by gases to be raw fuel, i would consider them just a by product of combustion and they would make they're way down into crank case and start to degrade the oil. the owner of this car stated ina comment that the car had been previously running for 15 minutes, that is more than enough time for a cast piston and a set of cast iron rings to expand to there state at normal operating tempeture.
-
@etalani the ford engineers says with in 5 seconds they're cars are ready to go. if your car sat at idle for an extended amount of time that would also than cause sludge because you are going to have alot of imcomplete combustion. i am not and old douche bag, i am only 19 and still learning everyday. why would you go ahead and say someting like wishing you were smart enough to be a tech when you dont even know me. are you trying to make yourself feel better by looking down on me
-
@biffnacid its called blow by gases, which is raw fuel that passes through the unexpanded pistion rings due to the engine still being cold. Whiich in turn causes engine sludge. That's why your told to let the car warm up at idle. Training to be a "full time tech" You sound like a regular old douche bag who probably sweeps the shop floor wishing you were smart enough to even be a tech. Cerified Ford, Lexus, and ASE Tech! FYI!

@biffnacid idk.... My friend reved up his Magnum V8 to red line when recharging the battery. The thing started smoking and idling outta wack. It was a cold day tooand his engine hadnt been turned on for a while...

I've watched hundreds of Mustang GT exhaust vids, and I think this setup sounds better than 99% of them. Nice job.

@praetorian2150 i dont want this to sound like and asshole comment but revving a cold engine up really doesnt do any damage, i work for ford and i am in trainging to be a full time ford tech and i no countless techs who have been in the buiness for 40 plus years and none of them have ever seen any proof that revving up a cold car is worse than letting it idle. no i dont start my car instantly hit the rev-limiter but what this guy is doing isnt andy worse for the car than letting it sit an idle

@50centGunit101 me to
why are u revving a cold engine? thats smart and a half

The car had been running for 10-15 minutes before the video was taken so the clamps would expand. After the exhaust cooled, I tightened all the bolts again.
I'm smarter than the average bear...but thank you for your input.
