@MrSpina123 I'm suprised that airlines such as Branif never took hold of the VC10. But they did invest in a fleet of BAE 1 elevens.

@phillyslasher it was way ahead in technology compared to its rival ie 707, but was not a moneymaker...

the 707 was a simple systems design that won the game....i worked on both as a ground mechanic

The VC-10 was IMO the most beautiful airliner ever built. It's a real shame that the British left the airline business and all we have left to remember them is Airbus.
