Excie is lame in his right front leg. Apparently it's arthritis, but nobody's really sure. He'll go lame and then get well. Sometimes he'll only be lame in one spot on the circuit. But it's undeniable that he dips his head in time to his front right.
No, I wasn't egging him on to get him to run around the pasture. I wouldn't do that purposefully since I don't want to aggravate his leg more than necessary. In truth I was actually trying to catch him! He's afraid of being shut inside again and has gotten quite difficult to catch when he's outside. I'm working on it by going to catch him periodically, only to lead him around the pasture for a while, and then letting him go. But at that moment I'd been trying to catch him for ages and thought: he's moving so well, why not film? =)
It's hard to tell with the video because he isn't consistently moving around but he does look a little short in the front right, not terribly though.

@Tifton88 It's the front right he's got trouble with. He was well for a long time but now he's lame again. DAMN it. If he can't get well his owner will probably send him to slaughter and I'm powerless to do anything about it.
