Stupid Children at the Grand Canyon

I'm assuming this is their mother with them, but these kids had been right out on the very edge of that rock formation which juts out several thousand feet above the canyon floor....hence the title.

This was extremely dangerous and the parent should not have been allowed to put the children in such an unsafe situation. Don't you want to protect the children?

absolutely nothing wrong with that. i assume the kids aren't stupid and really clumbsy, so why is everyone like "holy crap, why are they near the edge!! these kids are obviously not capable of standing on their feet without immediately falling over".........kids need to do more outside and adventerous stuff like this rather than waste their childhood playing video games

This is what they call the pussification of America..too many soccer moms getting in the way of children exploring, doing what children do. Too many worry warts out there. We cannot dummy proof everything just let them be, expand their horizons.

Obviously they are not american, else they would have certainly have taken a tumble down and the mother would have sued the rock.

@psrecords Protect? Of course, yes. Shelter? Not one bit. If the kids wanted to do it and the parents were okay with it you have no right to tell them they're wrong. Be worried for them, but don't call them stupid for being curious yet in control of themselves in a precarious location/situation.
