I also agree about the geographical cure. I live in Florida but am on probation so I can't move. FLorida is crawling with crack and oxy's etc. Can't wait til I am off probation so I can move.

Well, it's been a long time ago, but for me I just stayed really drunk for 6 months. Still drank yet my troubles did diminish alot(not to say the drinking didn't cause trouble-LOL). And absolutely agree about geographical cure...it helps. Also the brain does crave after 7 days, and 30 days in cycles...it's true, there's scientific studies on that, you might feel you kicked it but it will come back on you in cycles so be ready for that...I just took it out with beer. Sounds crazy but that's me.

@kadmonzohar2 I hope you are still doing well. The drinking does cause troubles also. Any drug that you do including xanax that lowers your inhibitions and will allow you to make the mistake of doing that drug that you are trying to stay away from, the good thing about xanax is that you usually cant remember what you did and for some reason, if we had no memory then we would not be an addict.
