  • Also, if the child was NOT cognizant of his actions, there still should be some serious punishment involved in addition to treatment. I don't think a life sentence would be appropriate under those circumstances. (I should have made a video.)

  • I agree. I couldn't help, but to make a video after hearing this story.

  • Sorry that i just dnt agree with U the father is more 2 blame then the kid . why buy a kid a gun for .the cops just want 2 lock him up in prison for the rest of his life . so they can close the case ,whether we are black or white we should be treated the same . and most people should get a 2nd chane in life .child killers should be put 2 death and some of the mad cunts that U guys heve in america.

  • i think this kid should not face life but severe punishment life in jail for a 12 year old is crazy being in jail for 60 years just as a kid he wouldnt get to see anything life has to offer it would be making this kid inhuman i wouldnt be surprised if he tried to kill himself in jail but a life sentence is to far

  • For the most part I have to agree. I read the article. I believe there has to be some kind of retribution as far as the kid's actions are concerned. Evidence suggests he was cognizant of his actions. If so, he should be tried as an adult. If not, treatment should be considered. In any case. The father should be charged with reckless endangerment at the very least. I don't believe 11yr-old judgement is safe in the presence of accessible firearms.
