Setting up a virtual terrain flight over Switzerland

Starts at Lake Geneva and ends near Gornergrat Zermatt with Matterhorn. Geodata licensed from swisstopo.ch

Rendered in Vue xStream 9.5 from E-on Software

-import elevation data as USGS-DEM in UTM projection
-apply texture from orthophoto
-remove artificial shading (since texture already contains shading)
-set luminosity of texture to 100% (because texture is already illuminated)
-add atmospheric effects (haze, scattering, clouds, etc.)
-finetune (water reflections, artificial plants, gradation)
