If you play CCC there's a guy on "tubenet.com" discussoin board called Tuben
who says he'll send you $100.00 . he has a special tunner that he tunes organs
with and he says CCC is impossable.........................
All tuba players should join the tubenet.

@tubamanb It might be possible if I pulled every slide almost all the way out and then really lipped it down. Then I'd have to do it every day for some time. But I think it is possible with 5 valves down and a bunch of slide pulls.

is there any exersizes you would recommend for a grade 5 tuba player. i need to get more airy cause im attempting to play the flight of the bumblebee and carnival of venice.

@yourmum9521 Well, Flight of the Bumble Bee is essentially chromatic scale and triplets. When I spent time on that piece I also spent a lot of time with a metronome and the Herbert Clarke trumpet books. Carnival of Venice, again another trumpet book, the Arban trumpet method is what I used to learn Carnival of Venice. There are versions of it out there for tuba and trombone. But whichever version you use, have a trumpet copy as well.
