How to make a field goal post headboard for your room

It is not as hard as it sounds! What you need: 2 people a with little common sense Small paintbrush, Cordless drill with #2 bit, hacksaw, tape measure, stud finder(optional but helps) pencil, small can of pvc glue (this is optional because some people hate the mess) and yellow spray paint (I used red for georgia bulldogs)and a small level. You need 20 foot of 2" PVC pipe , 2 2" 90's(or elbows) , 1 2" tee , 2 2" pvc caps. 6 3-1/2 #2 wood screws to fasten it to the wall. Cut 2 5 foot lengths of pie. This will be the upriser poles. Cut 2 2 foot pieces. These will be the horizital pieces in the middle. The bottom piece is cut to length to hide behind the bed. Look at the video closely to see how to glue it together. I recommened "dry fitting all the pieces together first then see how it looks and fits to the wall. Be careful about assembling post outdoors and gluing them outdoors and then may not fit in the room. Paint the pieces. (save a little paint in can for later) Put the small level on the pieces as you screw them in the wall. Using the cordless drill and put the screw on the #2 dit bit (phillips head) Run a wood screw into the pvc pipe slowly and once you go through one side of the pipe slowly go through the next wall of the pipe. Once you are through the pipe screw into the wall slowly. Take a football and cut it in half by by cutting the threads on one side this use a small nail to hang it. That little bit of paint and spray it on a plate real thick. Use the small brush anddip it in the color you need to color the heads of the screw you just installed.
