  • @StealthTroops Holst didn't know that, like many people in the early 20th century. It's named after the Roman goddess.

  • @StealthTroops Nowadays we know that, however back in history venus was named after the roman goddess of love.

  • @FlyingFiddleISme yeah, it's supposed to be like that. In fact, Venus (the woman - peace) is the half of Mars (the man - war). They were lovers.
