July 16th 2006 Sixth-inning grand slams by Cliff Floyd and Carlos Beltran helped the Mets make history on Sunday, as New York set a franchise record with 11 runs in a single inning. David Wright added a two-run shot in the record frame. The game marked the seventh time in Major League history that a team hit two grand slams in one inning.
