Is there anyway to enable the optioms in the remote tab? It works but i would lile to add some users to connect and make it so other versions of windows can connect.

Have done all of this but what do I do next? When I go to control panel and click allow remote access, I still get the same window without the checkboxes in the lower half, so no change at all from before. Anyway you can just show on a video what you do after installing this hack?

Please also make sure you enable remote assistance on the machine you want to access. You can do that in System in Control panel

cool, but you can remotely connect to any computer accross the world easier and safer with TightVNC.

But with tight VNC you cannot login and use the PC while the other owner is in and using it. With Vista RDP you can login virtually and you both can use the pc at the same time, completing different tasks.

Then click on about Windows. The version will detail having Service Pack 1 if it has it.
Second question, when you opened Command Prompt did you right click the icon and choose run as administrator?
