@SuperIluvtaylorI actually know quite a bit about music. I point out the aspects of her singing that are lacking in my post. Do you know what controlled vibrato is? Obviouisly not if you think this vocal abortion is good. Vonda is a almost decent local bar karaoke singer at best.

The reason you were voted down is because you don't know anything about how much emotion
was put into this song. Vonda might not be the most "popular" singer, but her songs are far more beautiful than most of today's singers. Also considering the fact that you don't know much about music,I dare you to go up in front of people and sing. I bet you can't do it!

@aaqaaqaaqaaqaaqaaqaa I'm not a fan of absolutes. I can think of other voices in the business who fit your description, and, unlike Vonda here, they have trouble staying on key as well.
I can see how Vonda's voice may not be as pleasing to everyone - however, I like it. I'd take her singing over Mariah any day - she may be less technical but she has more soul. I wasn't much of a fan until I heard her sing live.
