Mac OS X Snow Leopard vs. Windows 7 Booting Up

This video shows Windows 7 and mac OS X Snow Leopard booting up side by side. Windows 7 is running in bootcamp. I wanted to see which was faster.

Video is just a comparison of the two, windows did have issues because it has to go through the bootcamp startup first, then start windows which was why it was slower. While OSX just went straight to booting up and why it was faster. If you boot up OSX on a mac and Windows 7 on dedicated windows computer, the two are pretty close in boot times. Both operating systems have their strengths and weaknesses.

2.53 GHz Intel core 2 duo processor
4 GB DDR3 ram
250 GB hard drive with 75 GB dedicated to Windows 7

Try booting on an actual pc with an SSD. I bet you the PC will start up faster.

The thing is that different computers have different boot times. both are decent computers, neither are supreme because they both have their faults
