165mph on my 06 Yamaha R6

As promised, a new, IMPROVED video. With 13 more mph and an overused 80's rock song. To those who've said that a stock R6 won't break 160mph, I offer 'exhibit A'. To those who watched my last video and said that I probably wouldn't live long enough to make another: SURPRISE!!

@tuntun1105 - I've said it a thousand times: yes, it does *look* slow when I'm passing cars, but I assure you, that is NOT kph! Listen to the gear shifts and look at the RPM's carefully.

I did 166 on my 06 gsxr 600. That was before it got stolen, but i probably would be dead right now if it hadn't. Although I want my bike back, I feel like I have truly lived since most people never experience something like that in their lives, plus it feels good to be able to say I'm in the club lol

Its perfectly possible to reach 165, i wouldn't doubt a second that with good circumstances you'd reach 170 mph, although you'd need to find a empty highway going straight enough, downhill and a good wind, sun in your back, homesickness and a dire need to take dump would also have to contribute i think

Why were you slating the guy when its perfectly clear he is being honest about his speed. Look at the revs and listen to the gear changes. Plus if it was in kph they would be going up a damn sight quicker than what they are

Hey dude mass respect on the speed. I bet that engine was singing at 18k rpm. I've done 171mph (downhill at night with no traffic on a 3lane motorway) on my tuned CBR600F '99 whats that R6 like to ride?
