@pflo99; I was wonderin' why that sounded familiar,
nice call, kinda eerie yes yet remember,
that Montrose album came out in 1973, only 3 years before.
-
Alex is playing "Make It Last" at the beginning (Montrose /Sammy Hagar). Ironic.
-
@TheMadMusicMan no problem, thank you for your appreciation.

@airborne5150 Ah, my mistake. Thank you for your service to our nation Sir!
-
@TheMadMusicMan No, he doesn't use the phaser until the G chord right before the solo and obviously during the solo's.
-
@1969ryson Wow, kinda cool to think about. Never occured to me before. Wild. lol
-
Just think Led Zepplin was still touring when this came out.Talk about a changing of the guard.I dont know why I find that odd.
-
@gibson5150 Yes he did, he keeps the phaser on to help the guitar breethe a bit and uses the flanger on the small rif.
-
Nobody had any idea at that time how good these songs really were.
no, he changed the way guitar was played like hendrix did and he was the creator of the superstrat (humbuckers in strats, back in that time they were only found in gibson guitars like les pauls, sgs, es 335 etc) now nearly every company as a superstrat style guitar, which is all thanks to mr evh XD
