No tool installed testing unit by "Air" cutting circular pocket. Rise and fall sound is the 130 in.oz. steppers accelerating and decelerating. Using Oregon Micro Systems Stepper Drivers on all 3 axis, Campbell Designs breakout Board, and 24 Volt regulated Power Supply. Part being cut is a precanned Wizard in the MACH3 CNC software.

  • That is the sound of one of the stepper motors. The X axis I think.

  • I would like to know how you cut with air? Is it a laser air N2 combination or is it just compressed air with a special nozzle?
