I hate it when folks ask really bad questions like that. And on the panel they have no choice but to respond to it in SOME fashion and of course there's an expectation that they will handle it well.

Nathan did a really good job.

Nathan Fillion's expression at 3:27-3:29 cracks me up. I've never seen Nathan look so pissed off. Though he politely answers the guy's question, he is clearly thinking,

" What the fuck is this guy's problem?"

That's true. I guess someone who doesn't know the fandom and the intricacies of the tv system would probably not understand why their favorite tv show was cancelled.

There are some questions that you cant put nicely no matter how much you try. I think he tried to ask it as nicely as he could. Nathan's reaction was much better than Elizabeth's I think. I've seen Elizabeth's other interviews, wow... she looked like she wanted to jump the guy. She had (here's an oxymoron) a calm turbulence about her, probably doesnt make sense but that's what I saw on this video.
