Also I will be puchasing a metal detector to get into the hobby. I have around $200 . Ive been doing reserch and I think I narrowed it down to 2, the bounty hunter quik draw II - or B.H. pioneer 202 or the fisher f2/W 2 coils 4"&8". What is your opinion on these or other suggestions would be great !

@sirio27272727 I FREQUENTLY swap coils from 5" to 11"...any box you can get with coil options WILL improve your chances. I run a Tekentics G2 (same as Fisher Gold Bug) and I've heard lots of good about the F2...ultimately it's an ego issue...you WILL get shit for running a BH...the F2 will do the job a little better for a beginner and cause you less stress in the MD crowd.
