@GuitarSpecialist I wouldnt use the 355 for this...aim towards the 500 or even better the 1000. You can bypass the amp seaker simulation globally in those products. In the 355 you need to do this by hand per preset
@ralfjung If I went in and manually turned off the amp models, could I still use the distortions, effect, whammy and wah,, etc? Man, I don't have th cash for anything new now ;-(
@GuitarSpecialist sure, look at the Matrix and see those rows...each row is standing for an effect or the ampsection/Speakersection...each row can be turned on or off independently...and assigend to a preset. You can do this to any preset differently or the same like in the previous preset and any preset can be copied to any location
At 7:18 you explained the amp/line switch as controlling the "speaker simulation" being on/off. Can you please confirm that for me? So does this mean that the cab sims for the specific preset you choose will be defeated if you choose "amp"? I thought the switch has something to do with line levels but I could be wrong. Thanks man.
@ImageRiver well if you push that buttom on the back the outputs are optimized for the usage with an amp or with a mixer. The only preset which does not use a speaker by default is the acoustic simulation. You can add speaker simulation or delete it on any preset though
is the rp355 ok to run directly in front of my Mesa Boogies recotverb 50 tube amp, without any worries of messing up my amp?
