BTW, I was told later that it wasn't Rand Paul speaking. It was too far away for me to see who it was, but I think he was indeed around somewhere that day.

@Philliesboy16 What are you talking about?? The North American Union clearly defeated the Confederacy starting with their defeat at the Battle of Gettesberg and their subsequent surrender two years later. Moreover, I would suggest that a civil war with Democrats would be unlikely to go in your favour. Most conservaties are poor and uneducated, not a winning combination by any standards.
