Jessie hiking to the Hollywood Sign with David and Diane way back in 1999. Getting close enough to the sign to actually touch it is technically "trespassing in a mountain fire district" or something like that. Hiking up to it from the obvious approach would require scaling chain link fences topped with razor wire, walking past "No Trespassing" signs and through really rich people's backyards. Fortunately Jessie knows a trail you can take that brings you in behind the sign that is on hillsides with tall brush that provide cover (and shade) so you can't be easily spotted. More importantly, you don't need to go under, over, through, or around any fences and you won't see a "No Trespassing" sign until you get the Hollywood Sign itself. So if you're caught, you plead ignorance, apologize profusely and turn around and go back until another day.
@midnightnissan117 yea they do , theres little cameras & motion sensors on the sign
