  • wtf this people got nothing ro write little gay bitch

  • @absolutecrosby Wasn't Northstar part of Alpha flight not Xmen? I have no idea who Anole and Graymalkin are, are they new members of Xmen it's been awhile since I bought their comic.

  • @absolutecrosby Were the Village People gay or just lame? Boy George of the Culture club dressed to definitely represent himself as gay though.

  • @hydrolito that was only the first Robin...

Batman noticed his pychological instability after the second Robin had died.

And talking about Robins and Batman being gay for keeping a Robin around, I should mention, that the fourth Robin was a girl and the fifth is his son (secretly raised by the league of Assasins without Batman's knowledge). So who gay is having a son or enjoying the company of a girl? :D

  • @ultimativerHexer Actually in the movie version Robin wanted to smash the villians and Batman toned him down, and so Robin Rescues Two face, and villian showed no graditude and it almost cost him his life. So it Was Batman that toned Robin down in the movies, Remember Robin was angry with just cause because twoface in the movie version killed his family and tried to kill a crowd of people, maybe Robin toned him down in the comics I'm not sure about that.

  • @ultimativerHexer So they went from Gays being a bad thing to gays being the in thing, so I guess if your not gay your not part of the in crowd, our society has made a 180.

  • @hydrolito The thing with Robin is something completely different. Without a young sidekick for whom he has to be a good rolemodell, Batman might become cruel and violent and his justice might turn into tyranny. So he needs a Robin to stay sane.

Interestingly enough: In the late 50s Batman was often accused to being gay. To stop this, DC introduced Batwoman who regularely flirted with Batman.

Whe the character was reintroduced in 2006, she was now openly lesbian.

    Ironic, isn't it?

  • @hydrolito well, no. Supermanis married to Lois Lane in the Comics and they have a great relationship.

With Batman it's more complicated. I is Batman only because the loss of his family makes him suffer, so he seeks relief from that suffering by protecting others from the same fate. If he had a wife and children, his suffering wouldn't be strong enough to make him fight anymore (like it happened on Earth 2 after marrying Catwoman).

  • @ultimativerHexer Okay so both Superman and Batman don't want to get to involved with a woman out of fear of what a foe would do to them if they found out about it, was part of why Batman didn't originally want Robin as a partner for fear something would happen to him, and Superman constantly worried something would happen to Lois or Jimmy.

  • @hydrolito The reason, why batman keeps his women distant is, that the driving force behind his batman persona is the loss of his family. If he would marry a woman and found a family of his own, the loss would not hurt anymore and he could not be batman any longer. Of course he is not aware of this subconcious dilema.
