"The broadsword is just for intimidation purposes and also it's too heavy."

Please specify what sword you're talking about.

"Part of the problem has to do with the absolute refusal of pop culture to even think about Medieval Europe accurately."

In our culture Middle Ages are the embodiment of cruelty, barbarism and ignorance, the universal projection surface of anything bad of our days. Just like Homo Neandertalensis is still the embodiment of primitiveness.

  • Katana's can Thrust?!

  • 刀の使い方知らねえだろこの人・・・

    腕力だけなら剣と刀はさして変わらんぞこの場合

  • This is all bullshit. First of all... the movements are totally incorrect. Second of all what kind of longsword is that? I used longswords for a looong time and I can assure you they would destroy that iron armour in 1 touch if handled properly. And I want to see a katana against a proper armor and see what kind of damage it does before breaking.

  • @martialartsman627 I know. It's like they picked the worst longsword they could find. Any sharpened sword should be able to cut untreated leather like the one they use here. I actually tested a blunt training longsword, the kind designed for safe sparring practise, and got the same results as here.

  • The katana owns that shitty longsword!

  • wow,katana so good,

  • *Ka-taa-na*

    It's *ka-tah-na*.

    They need a new host.
