really 180 PSI is good? that is a big red flag for internal problems in the combustion chamber!
like shall we say a big build of carbon! as far as a tan spark plug that should tell the the tech that the cylinder IS properly firing! carbon can cause a missfire problem too by the increase of resistance to ground in the chamber thus, inhibiting the spark jump to ground and thus, causing a missfire. also, the LD9 2.4 twin cam as in this video has has a cast iron block WITH a aluminum head.

i need a plug socket like that...i have a honda with deep weel plugs, and when i use a standard plug socket, when i go to remove the socket stays on the plug...pain in the a..what kind is that, or do you have a special techinque you apply?
"jump to the engine and take stuff apart" ... you have a VERUS and dont immediately pull secondary ignition pattern?
"this verifies the motor is good" ... not really ! you could still have high compression with a jumped timing chain!
im just givin ya sh*t. at least you got the point across that diagnosing is more involved than "plugging in a magic box that tells you what is wrong"
