Pokemon FireRed - Catching Zapdos easily with pokeballs

After you get Surf HM from Fuscia city, you can go back to the rock tunnel entrance and surf to the powerplant, which has a zapdos at the end.
He's level 50 and can be a good pokemon for your team, especially against elite four.
The main rules to catch pokemon aply here, but just in case you forgot here they are:
- weaken the pokemon as much as you can;
- inflict the pokemon with a status condition, best being sleep, second best being paralysis;
- spam the pokemon with the kind of balls you want, I use pokeballs here (although I threw an ultraball at the beggining, that was by mistake).

The sound is really low, so if you really want to hear it, I'd suggest turning up your volume to the max

whenever I try to use sleep powder on him he just dodges then drill pecks me its almost impossible to survive it
