The Driftwood Hike - Bayocean Peninsula, Oregon

Here's a video of a recent hike / backpack trip to Bayocean Peninsula near Tillamook, Oregon. I started down the coast near Cape Mears and walked up the beach until I reached the old townsite of Bayocean. After a zig-zag route across the spit (there's quite a bit of densely wooded areas with trails) I stopped at a decent looking campsite. Saw lots of evidence of deer and other predators that inhabit this tiny sliver of sand, grasses, and rock. Great area to explore if you get the chance.

Did you see the goats while you were there? There's a very friendly herd living right off the path, it was quite unexpected.
