Do the guards walk around randomly, or are there fixed routes?

Their paths are fixed unless you cause them to leave their patrol

your so cool man! please can you make a full videos on MGS1 snake mission? his missions are REALLY hard compared to all the rest, I completed all characters, but mgs1 snake i give up because its so hard please show me!! ><
