James Brown Funk On Ah Roll (s-class mix)

Probably one the best mixes of James Brown songs I've heard in a long time. I first bought the CD "I'm Back" which had three versions of this song.. This is clearly the best.

I like the original mix best, and it is even better on his live DVD at the House of Blues.

I loved the live version.

I didn't like the original version of the song too much.. I felt that JB's sound really suffered as technology moved forward.

I can't put my finger on it.. but I am listening to "get up off that thing/release the pressure" and it's so raw.. and his later stuff.. just didn't feel the same
