I live here in the shoals and we seen strong winds and hail!And I remember the sky being a deep Purple andBlack,with the backside being a Dark Orange color!I watched the storms on the news with my best friend!It was his 11th birthday on the 15th,and mine was on the 20th of November!!

Yeah, the whole area between the Parkway and up to the hill beyond Whitesburg & Airport is packed. It's really weird to see how relatively sparse it was back in '89. I used to live in Chateau, and a friend of mine lives in Waterford.

I was living in the Huntsville area in Nov 1989. I remember that thousands of vehicles were ruined from just the hail, plus roofs received hail damage as well. Of course, this was nothing when compared to the devastation in Huntsville.
