Well I missed your comment and since it is so directed at me I thought I'd respond. Probably a bad idea, but anyway...
Most people don't relate to Derek Bailey, they regularly comment on Bailey videos and insult him and lovers of his music. So no assumptions from me. They came to me and my sarcasm is what they got and they deserved it. Don't come to the pink corner if you want plain old black and nothing else, but yes, it is possible relate to Bailey and popular music.

The words I typically associate with Laura are "lush" and "smooth," and it seems Bailey has gone for "discordant" and "pointillist." There's nothing inherently wrong with that style, but I doesn't make for a particularly successful interpretation of this standard.

And then good old Derek Bailey comes and after several decades and a couple hundred recordings later, your little prick ass becomes aware of him by way of internet and think you have it nailed.
