This presentation reminds us of how tiny and insignificant we are as compared to the universe, but we think we are the "tough guys" who can do anything they want. No, keep yourself under limits, stay humble, act smart and be thankful to God for creating this tiny but amazing little masterpiece called Earth. :)

  • I agree with blaziermissy. The description of this video is in contradiction to what Carl Sagan taught.

  • @Andromedasorbit & @blaziermissy

Didn't I upload this video for the same reasons? Didn't I know who is speaking in this video? Did I mean any disrespect to Carl in the end?

Then again, we can just hope and wish for the best of humanity, but does everyone really act on the morals for the sake of humanity? There still are murderers, there still are robbers and killers on earth, and justice has to be done, or else you are one of those who are committing injustice on our only home in the universe.

  • All I know is that we're a bunch of talking apes, whose merits are measured by how we better the lives of our species. For many, Christianity served as that tool. For many of us now, it is the satisfaction of knowing that we can't know for certain. I'm with AntiHypocrisy on this one.

  • :), I get your point that human physically is also having a body just like other animals. BUT, that makes human superior is its intellect, creativity and ability to ponder about the Creator (no matter you believe at the end or not). So your typing here and transformation of your thoughts to the form of comments in this video are the evidence you have something better than apes. :)

  • very true :)

I am just a Romanian, born Christian Orthodox, I am now an agnostic, but I cried for those innocent Muslims that died because of the greed of one empire... USA is viewed very badly by the World because of this. Bush has to be sanctioned as a war criminal.

  • this is a very nice video... i would like you to not mix it whit personal beliefs, not because they are not respectable but the purpose of the video is not that, anyway nice title and nice video again

  • i am so insignifigant

  • While I mean no disrespect to you, after reading your description I realized that you didn't listen to what Sagan is saying. Take a serious listen....

  • Exelent vid!

  • Beautiful vid....now why did you default with the religious description?

This is a tribute to Carl Sagan, afterall.

  • yup! gotta keep checkin' those emotions...I stay checkin' myself =0) Great reminders. Alhamdulillah!

  • I love the perspective that these kinds of videos bring to me.

Unfortunately i can say i spend too much time in my life without this perspective in mind.

  • Whoops sorry, posted last comment before the end credits - obvioulsy was Carl Sagan.

    Lovely words.

Though what he did to Velikovsky was pretty nasty.

  • 'On a mote of dust, suspended on a sunbeam' - beautiful. Great send RabbitNexus. Very humbling.

Oh, and AntiHipocrisy - who be the voice? (It's not Sagan is it?)
