So I came from reddit and started watching this video. About half way through I realized that I was watching virtual grass grow. WHY THE FUCK AM I WATCHING VIRTUAL GRASS GROW?!?!

@Alpha3lob Haha I took no offense to it, as it's a pretty decent question for a video like this.
Reddit is basically a big site with many "categories" for different topics (called subreddits). Posts and links get upvoted or downvoted by other users on the site. The more upvotes, the more likely it'll be on the front page of the subreddit, or even the front page of the site.

@Erde04 The problem with trees I've found so far is that when i'm a good distance away (to get many trees at once) they don't seem to update. But as soon as I move closer and around the area, they grow instantly. I'll have to find the perfect distance to have them show.
