  • Umm this is better then 99% of the crap on youtube.

If you read the story this is spot on and they did a good job.

I am not being sympathetic when I say these guys did a great job and should make more as I liked this and did not feel like a few moments of my life was wasted looking at most of the junk on Youtube.

  • Cool short movie. I wasn't sure at first, but it deffinently captures the mood quite well.

  • It's honest about its presentation and does not hype itself or feel pretentious at any point. And that's pretty much all I could ever want in a fan adaptation of a film. Good work.

  • The scene of listening to the voice was excellent. But I have to say, the music in the forest scene was a little mismatched - it gave the scene a rather comic effect, I thought. And I'm sorry, but Akeley just looked silly in the fez and Elton John shades. Even so, an excellent effort. Well done. Despite my nitpickings, I agree with ilikebugs - this is better than much of the stuff I see on YouTube.

  • Oh, it's bad. Many mistakes and mismatches. The ill man was older than this "boy" that he might be thirty years. And the room was blackened. I am disappointed especially in this scene, that it's the most absurd of the amazing story ...

  • I' m now speaking frankly and without any spite. Have you ever read anything from Lovecraft? If I didn't, I'd say this is terrible. But if you understood Lovecraft (which is virtually impossible but you can touch it), you would understand this video ;o)

  • some pitifully miserable comments below, what did these people expect a Spielberg array of special effects???

my thanks to the makers they did a wonderful job on this...

  • oh, brother.....

  • i agree this is pretty much amateur hour here. Oh well.
