omg! thx so much!!! i have this sword striker pack 1/144 but i dunno where it came from. seeing this vid with the NG reminded me that i had a NG strike gundam!! ^_^ lol thx :P

@ziljin that is exactly my point, would be great for things like ZZ and victory, which have complex transformations, making the kit more fragile

@L2W272 I guess they could do that for transforming kits, that would double the sales! Like they did for the Unicorn model.

@ziljin well for transforming kits, they could always do 2 kits, for example 1/144 Zeta and a 1/144 Waverider rather than doing a half arsed transformation

as for those other examples, yes because thats how they get money

@L2W272 Well maybe they changed their mind for sets now? Bandai likes to upgrade and downgrade their sets. Well maybe the RG is a cheaper MG. For people who do not want to buy the MG. For transforming they cannot make a separate kit out of it. But for extra weapons and accessories (that was what I meant by gimmicks) they can separate it like the Strike. And look at 00, the regular 00 gundam is missing so much stuff!

@ziljin well the 00 ones are pretty good though, i used to have all 4, but the NGs suck in comparison, and if the gimmickiness was not important but a cheap price was, why do they make transforming HGs? why do HGs cost alot for what you get? and why are they doing RGs? seems stupid to me

@L2W272 NO I have not. I was hoping that these were the same quality. I guess Bandai figures the appeal of the 1/144 kits is price and not gimmicks. So they decrease the gimmicks to keep the prices low to boost sales.

this would be really good for my 1/144 HG aile strike...oh wait, i got the MG sword/launcher...

yeah they should copy the MG and just do a 1/144 HG sword/launcher strike set or do a SWS 1/144 set, rather than forcing you to buy the 1/144 NG kits....

have you built any of the 00 FGs? they are about the same price as these, but 2x as good (only 2x as the only major difference is that the knees and elbows bend)
