Cheap Good Pipe Suggestion

I found some pretty good cheap pipes that make for a good smoke.

i have never tried smoking out of a pipe but i love to smoke out of a hookah and i was wondering if a pipe was similar in taste because i don't want to spend allot of money on a hookah if i can just get a $20 pipe also can you get addicted to nicotine from smoking from pipes or hookahs even if you don't inhale?

@img0ingin I've never tried a hookah but I'd imagine it would be similar, but probably not the same. As for nicotine addiction I'd say that yes, there is a possibility of that considering nicotine gets absorbed into the bloodstream immediately - even through your mouth (snuff is a good example of this). However, speaking from experience I'd say your not likely to suffer cravings or anything like you would with cigarettes.

@jz109210 I generally stray from the green stuff due to it's legality at the moment, however the research surrounding it's amazing ant-cancer properties have me highly intrigued with it's medical uses. I am not a fan of getting blazed or stoned though but then again I'm not one to generally be found highly intoxicated in any manner. It's whatever works for the end user though. I find the legal risk to be too much at the moment. Perhaps later on when the world wakes up.

Hey man I am like 32 but look 25 and I still get looks and comments about me smoking a pipe. Don't worry about it man. You say you are interested in some cheaper pipes, how cheap are we talking, like what is your price range. I got many suggestions though cobs smoke just as well as anything else

@Stormwulf133 cheap to me is generally under 30$. Moderately priced pipes that I might consider as a serious investment are those from 40$ - 70$. Anything above that is probably worth the cash if I had it to spend but since I don't it's pretty much out of the question.

Corn cobs are great for me right now though. Other pipes I normally just buy from places like pipesandcigars . com who were kind enough to get me hooked on some of their Black Cordial tobacco... great stuff.

I'm a cigar person myself. I'm only 18 but I know my stuff and the guys at the lounge I go to always know who I am, so for the younger smokers here if you show interest and do a bit of research your tobacconist will know you aren't some "punk" kid

I have the same problem with my local tobacconist. Just because I'm a young guy, he thinks I'm up to no good. I don't know why they're so grumpy, I mean I'm giving them my money after all.

@pipemannow Thanks! Glad to be here. I've considered estate pipes, but I can't get past the idea of it having been in someone else's mouth. I suppose I could always buy a new stem though. Aside from that pipe shops around here are scarce and not so friendly to younger guys like me. They seem to be under the impression I'm only there to smoke weed.

Welcome to the online pipe community! Always neat to find a cheap pipe when you are first starting out. Aside from the corncobs and meershaums, a lot of pipe shops sell estate pipes, which can be pretty cheap. Great vid. Cheers!
